Abbotsford isn't just where I live. It's home.

It's where my husband and I raised our family, built lasting friendships, started and grew a business, and became involved in a community that has given us so much over the years.

I've always believed that strong communities are built through people who care enough to get involved. That's why I've spent decades volunteering with local organizations, supporting community initiatives, and working alongside people who are passionate about making Abbotsford a better place.

Serving my community has never been about recognition. It's simply part of who I am.

My career has been about helping people solve problems.

My career in finance and business has spanned nearly 40 years. It began in the banking and insurance industries, continued with the Canada Revenue Agency, and for the past 26 years I've had the privilege of building and leading Numbers Unlimited.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping thousands of individuals, families, businesses, and organizations understand their finances, solve problems, plan for the future, and make informed decisions.

That experience has taught me something important.

Good decisions don't happen by accident.

They come from listening carefully, asking the right questions, understanding the facts, and looking for practical solutions that work.

Those are the same principles I'll bring to City Council.

Why I'm Running

People often ask why I decided to run for Council. The answer is actually quite simple.

For years, through my business and community involvement, I've had conversations with people from every part of Abbotsford. I've listened to business owners trying to navigate City processes, families concerned about affordability, volunteers working to strengthen our community, and residents who simply want to know that their concerns are being heard.

One message kept coming back.

People want a City Hall that works with them, not against them.

I believe I can help.

Not because I have all the answers, but because I know how to listen, ask thoughtful questions, work collaboratively, and make practical decisions based on facts.

Council's role isn't to promise everything. It's to provide leadership, set direction, make responsible decisions, and ensure the City is serving its residents well.

That's the kind of councillor I want to be.

What You Can Expect From Me

If you elect me to serve on Abbotsford City Council, you can expect someone who will:

  • Listen before making decisions.
  • Ask thoughtful questions.
  • Respect taxpayer dollars.
  • Work collaboratively with others.
  • Focus on practical solutions.
  • Follow through on commitments.

I believe trust is earned through actions, not words.

If I'm given the opportunity to serve, I'll work hard every day to earn that trust.
