Principles

What I Believe

People first. Facts matter. Follow through.

These are the principles I'll bring to every conversation, every decision, and every vote as a member of Council.

People Come First

Every decision should begin with one question: How will this affect the people of Abbotsford?

Good Leadership Starts With Listening

People deserve to be heard, and different perspectives lead to better decisions.

Facts Matter

Good decisions should be based on facts, reliable information, and evidence, not assumptions or political talking points.

Ask the Right Questions

Good leadership means asking thoughtful questions, understanding the facts, and looking for practical solutions.

Businesses Are Partners

Local businesses create jobs, support families, and strengthen our community. When businesses succeed, Abbotsford succeeds.

City Hall Should Work With People

Residents deserve clear information, reasonable timelines, and a City Hall that looks for solutions while maintaining responsible standards.

Respect Taxpayer Dollars

Every dollar belongs to the people of Abbotsford. I'll work to ensure public funds are managed carefully, transparently, and responsibly.

Strong Communities Matter

Safe neighbourhoods, recreation, arts, and community spaces help make Abbotsford a place we're proud to call home.

Arts and Culture Matter

Arts and culture strengthen our community, support local businesses, and enrich our quality of life. As Abbotsford grows, I believe we should continue creating opportunities for them to thrive.

We Accomplish More Together

The best results come when residents, businesses, community organizations, City staff, and Council work together.

Follow Through

Leadership isn't measured by promises. It's measured by thoughtful decisions, accountability, and following through.

Principles that guide priorities

These principles guide every decision I make and every priority I'll work toward as a member of Council.
